GE M-25 Placed In Service July 8, 2001: Our 1942 General Electric locomotive, our first diesel-electric, has officially been placed in service after about a year of mechanical and cosmetic work. The unit will be used for work-train service during construction of overhead for our track extension, as well as for moving cars which are inoperative or when the power is off. July, 2001 |
